I have to disagree wiht the cost factor. We have 4 towers up and running. With as little as 75 subscribers we were able to start getting our money back. We are also selling our wirelsee service $10 cheaper than DLS in our area for the same speeds. It is really working well for us.

Frank and all,

Wireless for us is simply an alternative method of connectivity to the customers. I frankly hate wireless as it is a pricy alternative to both (us and the customer). For us, its the headache and the management involved which is much higher than leased lines, frame relay or DSLs.

Therefore, yes .. there could be cheaper alternatives .. but it all depends on whether the customer has these other alternatives at his location or not.

Regards..

<Have you thought about leasing the equipment to the customer? I forgot to mention we are getting $40 a month for 768/128.>

Yes, that's where I game up with $50 a month.  I was figuring about $20 a month for the equipment.
