Frank,

What we are charging our customer for the YDI Etherant II is $365 then we have a $100 install of the ant.. Then we are charging $100 for a linksys 4 port DSL route configured. We are then giving back a $200 rebate if the customer signs a 2 year contract or $100 for a 1 year contract. We seem to sell a lot of these with no problem. Of course we do run across somebody every now and then that thinks it to pricey. You compare this to satellite and the cost is within reason. But the service is a lot better than satellite.  Believe it or not we still sell quite a bit of wireless in DSL and cable country. A lot of people are wanting to get rid of their land line and use cellular phones and get rid of cable for satellite. Wireless fills that niche nicely.   This may not work in your area but for us it works really well.

Subject: [VOPRadius] Off Topic Wireless Internet (Needing Information)

Kais,

with luck someone else wrote you offlist.  I was also asking questions.  I have no answers.  I'm not doing anything with wireless now.  until this thread I didn't think it made sense but I'm sure wondering whether it does.  I'm trying to find out if the equipment at the user end is pricey so it would only make sense for a business user wanting a dedicated connection or if it's a consumer product in an urban area???
