What you have to do is assign a profile to each Global Pops user, you could call the Profile "GlobalPops" then add this to the end of the GlobalPops Profile.

 Source IP = "65.167.179.3, 65.167.179.4"

This is exactly what we use and is what's running our server today.

Basically the IP addresses you see above are the IP's of their primary and secondary Radius servers. This tells Vop Radius to only accept connections that come from GlobalPops Radius servers. If someone trys to come in using a different profile like "Qwest" and you do not have this line in that profile, they will get a 691 error on their end and you will get an error in your error log (in Vop Radius) that looks something like this:

(Reject  :01060) 1/29/2004 7:47:16 Invalid Attempt: [170.147.200.152:16726] <username here> - Invalid Client IP![CallerID/CalledStationID]

The "Invalid Client IP!" is the part that tells you they are trying to access in such a way that they are coming through a Radius server other than GlobalPops.

I want a special profile that people who want to use globalpops have to be in. Basically I don't want just anybody to be able to use globalpops without being in this specific profile. We used to do this with qwest nation wide ports using some ascend attributes.

Greetings,
Anyone using GlobalPops for nationwide and such know how to make it so the customer has to be in a certain profile in order to be able to get on those ports? We used to have it working with Qwest only but just realized when we moved to GP it let's anyone on.

TIA,
 Scot
