Well stated, Frank.

The speed of a submarine or fish in the ocean is limited by
the displacement of the mass (virtual mass) of the water as it
moves, no matter how "streamlined" it is.
OTOH, the vacuum ether (or Beta Ether) has no mass, hence no
"ether drag" until you start to get near the speed of light.

We await the next post with baited breath. :-)
