If a superconductive state is manifest in the hearer wire that is not adjusted for by the power supply, the heater will not produce the constant heat from electrical resistance as expected. This could be the reason why there is oscillation in the heat produced in the reactor in several alumina tube experiments as a superconductive state begins to damp itself by cooling the heater and the reaction as the reaction first starts to take hold..
