There is no reason to think cold fusion device will need to be changed out
every 6 months! That's silly. Some have already run for 3 months. There is
no reason why the fuel should not last for decades, which is longer than
most machines and appliances.

This talk about changing out ever 6 months is probably a marketing scheme
dreamed up by Rossi or Defkalion. Even if it is necessary at first, it will
not be for long. When automobiles were introduced the tires lasted a few
thousand miles. The first car to drive across the U.S., by Horatio Jackson
in 1903, had to be overhauled many times along the way. Cars soon improved.

My refrigerator has failed twice in the last 20 years, most recently in
October. I got new ones on both occasions. The food supply was lost in
October. No big deal. My food supply was lost three times in the last 20
years because the power failed for more than a day. Electric power in
Atlanta is *less reliable* than the refrigerator.

Cold fusion thermal refrigerators will ultimately as reliable as electric
ones -- or more reliable. Thermal refrigerators have no moving part
compressors. They are used in remote cabins and places like that because
they are rugged, reliable, and they do not need electricity. They use
natural gas instead.
