Rossi did not do the Lugano test. Everyone connected with the test, including Rossi, says he has nothing to do with the choice of instruments or the way they were set up. So this is a mistake it must have been made by Levi et al., not Rossi. I agree that he is a practical engineer who would probably use a thermocouple plus an IR camera the way they did in the first test. I cannot understand why they did not use a thermocouple in this test. My $80 Omega handheld thermocouple goes up to 1300°C. Rossi is sloppy at times but he is a "suspenders & a belt" engineer. - Jed
