There appear to be shell and holding companies. This is not unusual, nor is it unusual for a lawyer to act as a cutout. This keeps prying eyes (us) from observing the principals (people who want many watts of steam) closely.
Try penetrating a real estate trust, sometime. Throwing additional dust into the air, it's also possible that more than one law firm is working for Rossi, but only one shows in the court filings.
