This is a decent documentary on the "Joe Newman" magmo saga. It is free to watch if you have Amazon Prime. Highly recommended for everyone in free energy if you can spare the time. It is way too long and should have been trimmed down in time - but visually interesting in spite of its repetitiveness.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/detail/B01N658PX2/ref=atv_hm_hom_3_c_D4dtpS_2_9 It turns out to be most intuitive in a full understanding of the IEC story. On this forum, we went through years of argument on this subject in the early days of Vortex-L. Evan Soule and his arguments with Jed and others was a tragic story of proponents lacking a simple key to full understanding. As we know, the machine seemed to produce more energy than it consumed, on the surface, but the batteries could NOT be eliminated (never, ever) and if there is indeed to be real gain - then batteries cannot be needed - even when it seems they should have not been capable of achieving the net output seen. The conclusion is that batteries in general have far more inherent but hidden energy potential than the rated value. Seeing the actual participants, today, most of whom must be very decent people and certainly not scammers - has changed my view of what was going on at that time. They were good but deluded people - partially informed but less than fully informed. Self-delusion is a curious and infectious phenomenon. Very sad story in the end.
