Slept through another momentous occasion.
Reminds me of the time back in the early 70s when around 1:00 AM my buddies and I were driving past the UW Army Math Research Building of Madison, Wisconsin. Had we not been so inebriated at the time we might have noticed the dump truck filled with nitrogen fertilizer parked nearby. Fortunately, the timer was set to detonate a couple of hours later when presumably nobody would be in the building. Unfortunately, they miscalculated.
Fortunately for me, I slept through that momentous occasion as well.
