Just a comment. I have noticed that in this type of experiment, if the anomalous weight change is considered unexplainable in terms of conventional physics it is usually considered as evidence that g has been changed. However, it could also mean that the gravitational mass has been changed independently of inertial mass... implying the non-equivalence of inertial and gravitational mass. ;-)
