... but still, there are some interesting implications, both on the upside and 
downside.

For instance, if you (as a biological entity) can manage to get outside of a 
gravity field, then there is 'no time' in any objective sense: meaning that 
intergalactic travel is easily possible ... and you might get to another galaxy 
in no time, so to speak ... except for the little problem of biological 
processes not being denominated by time, so much as by things like the maximum 
number number of heartbeats and/or other factors related to wear-and-tear.

... adds a slightly different perspective to the 'twins paradox'...
