We could engage in such a debate but why waste time and energy thinking
about stuff that will take care of itself given a little time.
Nothing will happen until the CEO and directors of whats left of corporate
America have played out their string. Enron was NOT an example of an attempt
to "clean up" the corrupt structures. Enron was a demonstration of what
happens when the heirarchy ( CEO, directors and leadership cadre violate the
cardinal rule .. play the game or get your chain yanked. Nothing in the
board rooms have changed.
Who is the prime mover in the US corporate world.. GE Capital. Give a study
to a new enterprise called Gander Mtn.
This firm has stores selling sporting good. They have the same business plan
as Home Depot. The actual financial theme was a brainchild of Michael Dell
and made Dell fly.
Any attempt to close the borders will get you opposition . Who opposes
border control? The US gov't.
Who in the heck are they? perhaps as many as 20,000 people working in a
mindset that truly believe they know best.
They just happen to be positioned to "hinder ". In turn, thats all it takes
for a few out of the 20,000 to control the 20,000. nobody else counts cause
these 20k control who gets nominated for any political office regardless of
party.
The demise of corporate America began in post ww2 during the Kennedy era. US
steel complained to Kennedy the industry couldn't justify meeeting the union
demand for the wage increase demanded. Kennedy explained the unions put him
in office and it was payday. Same happened in tha auto industry union
demands.. folks, it was over when that happened.
It has since produced the likeness of Hilliary for 2008 pres.
Fast backward to 1860, the south produced the cotton , sold to England, the
US north states wanted to keep the cotton for their northern mills. They did
and England worked their magic and the south seceded from the union. Lincoln
himself said the war was never about slavery.
Where are all the players now ? the ones left over from the civil war..
their heirs are sitting on the boards of world banks with the power of
control.
Whats so sad about all this? this bunch has now taught China how to play the
"Great Game".
Nope! Happenings have to play out their string. Suggestion.. get a good set
of ear plugs.cuz the 2008 election has started.
