With a dash of OT-commentary at the end, which assorted NeoCons and
other racists will find offensive ...
There is a new "candidate" for important evidence of an exotic form of
extra-terrestrial matter (dark matter, mirror matter, cosmic matter,
antimatter):

What else could drive that kind of explosiveness (from a comet)?
It was ~1000 times larger in destructiveness than the "Tunguska
explosion" yet left no crater, so it was atmospheric. Yet the two
previous versions were probably even more threatening!
This exotic form of extra-terrestrial matter, if it was indeed a
component of regular death-comets, has been mentioned in postings by
Horace Heffner and others before, but thankfully without the following
derivative speculation - vis-a-vis the effect on human origins.
COMMENT & SPECULATION
Is there a 'hint' that this type of event is favored in the northern
hemisphere (from the locus of last several events)? ... maybe so, maybe
not.... but there is a hint that it occurs with frightening regularity:
every 45,000 years or so. Lets call the recurring problem: the "CMC" -
the cosmic-matter-comet. Tunguska was a small one, possibly out of
sequence, and the physorg article is about the more regular visitor. And
we have evidence of other regular ET CMCs!
Why the (hypothetical) regularity?...and what are the implications?
... for one, this near catastrophe would relate to why our species - ALL
human population, all 6 billion+ of us presently alive - can be traced
back back through DNA to a single "adam" and a single "eve".
...(who to the palpable chagrin of 'creationists' did NOT live at the
same time). Proving once again that ancient dogma is nothing more (nor
less) than beautiful metaphor.
There are many conflicting citations, and scientific explications, for
the so-called twin population "bottlenecks" which make us all so similar
in DNA, but basically the best hypothesis is that they are resulting
from the past three CMC events- for instance:

All the experts do not agree. But here is an emerging consensus.
Via the male line, all humans can trace their ancestry directly back to
a single male (Y-chromosomal Adam) who lived around 60,000 years ago.
That's right - there was single male "adam" and he appears to have lived
in the Caucasus mountains, not Africa. (are we all "Georgians" at
heart?). At this time the entire population of humans on earth could
have dwindled down to a few hundred, thanks to a CMC event (the one
prior to the 13,000 year-old one).
The single "eve" lived in Africa much earlier (~45,000 years earlier, or
100,000+ years ago). There is a valid statistical explanation as to how
and why the two progenitors were not married, never knew each other, and
probably had very different skin coloration.
This progenitor-'eve' probably derived from the CMC event prior to the
"adam event"... with the further implication that we are all
"ivory-and-ebony" macacas if you go back far enough, and that 'race'
itself is a cruel illusion !
It is theorized from actual DNA evidence that two different (in time),
but similar (in severity) "population-bottlenecks" occurred just prior
to both of these DNA progenitors being alive; but alive at differing
times (45,000 years apart) and that all humans alive today derive from
this confluence of tragedy and opportunity (which is the
population-bottlenecks); and furthermore, that both of the
near-extinctions could be related to similar CMC events! (which is
today's addition to the "you heard it first on Vortex" shtick ;-)
Scary that present day humanity could be so incredibly fragile in its
recent history.
One annoying implication is that later (adam-event) male line, probably
non-African, was superior in the sense of survivability (dare we say
that the Nazi's may have been half-right); more likely that all human
populations was rendered so small by the CMC- that this line replaced
all living human male contribution after the event 60,000 years ago.
Thus the entire world population, even the back-filling of Africa, is
traceable to this later CMC adam-event; BUT - lest we forget - with a
single African 'eve' who lived much earlier. DNA doesn't lie. That
evidence is clear.
Mind-boggling. Even more so, that we may have dodged a bullet, so to
speak, in the most recent event 13,000 years ago, which did not cause
the same severity of population bottleneck, although it did wipe out the
advanced "Clovis" people, who for all we know would have given the
Europeans a challenge for world domination, had not fate intervened.
But nevertheless, the presumed regularity of CMC events is most troubling.
