Although that cannot be ruled out, there seems to be no good evidence AFAIK that a black hole has been documented nearby (and perhaps cannot be situated anywhere other than a galactic core) ... or is there?

Of course the putative object in question could be "black" for other reasons...Robert Foot sez: "Since the physics of mirror matter would be governed by laws different than those of ordinary matter, mirror matter would be difficult to detect"
