Say, I wonder if this is an opportunity. When some major car manufacturer's stock crumbles, maybe it is possible to use the internet to put together a grass roots green takeover. It might be a way for some folks to not only advance renewable energy and conservation, and force long range thinking, but to make some money for retirement as well. It is primarily a matter of getting the right people on a board of directors. It might be possible to get automotive industry employee backing as well.

A key factor in being able to accomplish this is the ability of 401K and IRA stockholders to have voting rights with their stock. Isn't there some kind of limitation on this now?
