They would be a good thing if they got the kind of gas mileage you
get with a motorcycle. Frankly, I do not understand why they don't.
They look about as light as a motorcycle, albeit WAY safer and more
comfortable. Probably more aerodynamic than a motorcycle.
When my Geo Metro finally dies, I hope I can get an electric car.
The Metro is worth ~$500 according to DeKalb County, GA. It is almost
an affront! Hey, just because one of the back doors doesn't open, and
the roof is rusting -- $500?!? On the other hand they charge me only
$30 per year tag tax.
