You meant that the complexity of a chaotic system's underlying structure versus the complexity of its range of outputs is not related? Those two can be very divergent in different examples, though I can't say that they're completely unrelated. But in that simple sense I agree they're generally unrelated as a practical matter. To me chaos and complexity are deeply related. And I still maintain climate is not one of those where the output is simple and predictable, as I think most experts would agree (nor is it simple in structure). So you may have a point, but there's no purpose to it in this context. - Rick
