The only place in Australia where I could have legally driven at that speed
would have been in the Northern Territory (where there were no speed limits on
the open highway - I think this has now changed), however the roads there are so
bad, that nature imposes it's own speed limit. In short a top speed of 100 mph
is useless anyway.
