This is an excellent point Michel. Successful replication of this would be grounds for extensive funding of further research. Tritium increase is easily, cheaply and accurately measured, and only nuclear in origin, unless there is a source of contamination available.

If this experiment is repeatable then this of utmost significance. How could this be overlooked? Perhaps there was no follow-up, or the results could not be repeated?
