When indisputable T results are deliberately:

ignored
ridiculed
not funded

there are few conclusions possible other than that someone doesn't want research
to proceed in this direction.

The most likely reason for this is that tritium is H bomb material, and those
few nations that currently have this capability don't want it to end up in the
hands of all the rest of the World, particularly if they already know that it is
possible to construct such a weapon without a fission trigger (as has frequently
been rumored).
