Expect? Do I expect him to do this?!? To paraphrase Goldfinger: No, Dr. Park, I do not expect you to talk; I expect you to die. Seriously, I don't expect it, but then I didn't expect he would crack this far and admit he was even a teensy bit wrong. So . . . since wonders never cease, maybe Dave Nagel can persuade him to write something in the Post. It would be a big help. It might jumpstart more funding for the field. It is worth a shot. As for expectations, nobody expects Spanish Inquisition but the APS Inquisition is pretty much a sure thing. As Gene Mallove said the column should be called "What's New That I Don't Like. - Jed
