I have to ask the obvious question though - how do you know for sure that every time your hand raises it is under the force of your own thought? For example, subjects of hypnosis do things that they think are under the force of their own thought, and possibly they are, yet the actions are coincidentally consistent with instructions received, like quacking at the sound of a bell.

I suppose mind control at a distance would not actually qualify as telekinesis/psychokinesis. Such an event could be a combination of telekinesis and mind control/memory erasure though, whereby the hand was moved directly and memory shut down for the event. Difficult subject matter for experimental examination.
