Now, I've got a question. If we drill down to magma, and use that heat for power generation... aren't all powerplants just heat pumps? we generate the power while letting heat flow naturally down the line to colder climes. which would be..... the crust,the ground, the air? wouldn't that cause a global warming if done on a large scale as well?
