I disagree. They did replicate the Focardi results, but they discovered that
these results have prosaic causes. They observed a local temperature rise,
just as Focardi did, but cell as a whole did not heat up. This is the kind
of thing Mizuno observed with his gas calorimeter during calibration. You
cannot depend on the temperature in a single location with this arrangement.

McKubre has replicated results from several experiments and showed that they
have a prosaic cause. They are errors in calorimetry.
