Rich,

S30430 is soft temper wire stock !

Good grief - Why would you blindly try to debunk a potentially useful
finding by claiming that an alloy which is not used in Dewars, is the source
for anomalous copper ?

Geeze, I've got no problem with good debunking, because most of the
claimants "need" to be debunked. In fact, so long as the effort is not as
extreme and irrational on the skeptical side, as is the inventor's claim
(usually) - then we need to pursue all possible options. This is ongoing
with Rossi, but so far nothing makes me think there has not been massive OU,
even if it is less than COP =30 and closer to COP = 5.

That said - please show me a copper alloy which is used in Dewars, if you
claim that the copper was leached from the structure, and not a wire stock
alloy which is meaningless for the (older C.G.) investigation. In the case
of Rossi, he mentions copper in the patent, so we know where it could have
migrated from. In the case of the C.G. it appears you have not made even a
prima facie case for the visible copper, since your were merely blindly
looking for an alloy with copper, and having found one - did not check
further.

Skeptics, even mild skeptics with good intentions, should at least get their
own facts straight at the outset, and vet any debunking attempt by applying
the same standards that we all wish that the original claimant had used.
