I don't think anyone is intimidated by the weight of the evidence. Most skeptics simply don't know, that's all. And if they are already convinced that CF was a Huge Mistake, they are not motivated to find out.
They will need, to change, either some commercial product, or massive shift in the literature. I don't know which will come first.
There is a shift in the literature, but there is still a large, shall we say, blackout zone.
