The transition from hard x to ˠ occurs at about 30 keV; but, the process posited by the inventors would generate two photons totalling 1.22 MeV. What could be the source of x-rays if not some type of non-nuclear process? It is an interesting idea because of recent research on transmutation due to x-rays. T
