I was going to mention that.

Suppose, for the same of argument, John Berry is right, and there is no hard evidence bin Laden did this. In that case, here is an important lesson from that video:

In the event someone kills 3,000 Americans in a terrorist attack, you should not go around bragging that you masterminded the attack. Especially, don't brag on video if you happen to be a credible suspect. Someone is likely to come and shoot you, even 10 years later.

If Berry is right and this is a big misunderstanding, Mr. bin Laden should have had enough sense to surrender himself to authorities at the nearest U.S. Embassy. He would have been treated humanely and he would have been given every opportunity to clear up the misunderstanding and go free,

Totally asinine suggestion. BL was at the top of the most wanted list for other crimes, and would not have "gone free" whether or not he had an airtight alibi for 9/11.

While I don't agree that BL had nothing to do with 9/11, I did check the FBI website, and while BL was indeed the "most wanted" terrorist, it was, as the ibtimes article pointed out, *not* for 9/11:

Usama Bin Laden is wanted in connection with the August 7, 1998, bombings of the United States Embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and Nairobi, Kenya. These attacks killed over 200 people. In addition, Bin Laden is a suspect in other terrorist attacks throughout the world.

See page at http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/wanted_terrorists/usama-bin-laden

There was no mention of a connection with 9/11 that I could see on the page.

I find that interesting.
