They may claim whatever they want, but it is impossible that there is ambient pressure, since E-Cat is closed system, excluding small opening for the hose and there is substantial steam generation. Also it is even more impossible that steam temperature is above boiling point of local pressure. This is very basic steam stuff, although people seem to have huge amounts of difficulties to understand this. This is the reason why you need to know only one measured variable from E-Cat and that is the temperature of steam. From that you can calculate the pressure and total amount of steam generated, since only steam contributes for the pressure. In practice absolute value is rather difficult (but not impossible) to calculate, but relative output power for each demonstrations is easy, because in every demonstration was basically the same from perspective of steam flow. - Jouni
