Maybe I missed it but I don't think any recent tests have revealed any gamma radiation beyond background levels.

If they use special sensors and go into the water pipes or into the thermo element opening or into the steam outlet they might be able to measure it inside the shielding - if it exists.
They could also put sensitive substances into the water to detect radiation.
This all is unnecessary for verification. This is spionage. I dont want this.

If real energy is shown to do real usable and measurable heating work this is enough to proof the output energy. This is easy to do with standard tech, any plumber does this when a new heating installation is tested. They dont measure the waterflow and trust the data given in the data sheet of the pump, but it should not be difficult to add legally calibrated flowmeters.

Then only the input energy can be questioned.
