Understood. I got intimately familiar with glow plugs when I tried to use those for my Waste Vegetable Oil conversion for my GM Duramax van. One thing I found out, they don't last very long when used for continuous application of heat. Hence, my initial reaction with Bob's comments of a glow plug was one of irritation, at the blatant attempt at misdirection.
Now that I know that that was not the intention, no harm done, we can move on. In glow plugs, the heating element is encapsulated in a sheath. I am presuming you wouldn't want that in a glow discharge reactor? You're seeing pure ignorance on my part. I don't know anything about spark plugs, glow plugs or glow discharge. Eric
