Earn time from who, for what? The Patent Office does not care how long he takes. If his bank account is falling, he will not make it last longer by making exaggerated claims. No other clock is running Rossi has done nothing to keep his supporters happy. On the contrary, he has infuriated most of his financial supporters, and reporters, and members of the public. He has refused to do a demo. He has cancelled contracts with the university and others, and picked fights with NASA and others. I do not know what makes him tick, but I have not seen him do anything that improve his public relations. I would say he is a PR trainwreck. I do not see what you are talking about here. He earns no time and he makes no one happy. His actions, motivations and goals are a mystery to me. You imply that he benefits from these shenanigans, but I do not see how, or why. - Jed
