This experiment is another A.V. Simakin type experiment.
This experiment supports the Nanoplasmonic theory of LENR asserting the
creation of dynamic NAEs are formed by the interactions of nanoparticles,
specifically within the "hot spots" between nanoparticles.
I agree. If there ever was a poster experiment for plasmon polaritons and
nanoplasmonics this is it.
Plus - it must be demeaning for them . to see W-L struggle in such a futile
and juvenile attempt to wedge their theory into an experiment where it
clearly fails. They must be desperate for attention.
I would add that this is one more case proving that there cannot be a single
valid theory for LENR.
For better or for worse, understanding all of LENR is really
experiment-by-experiment and there are half a dozen theories that work in
some situations and not in others.
W-L has a theory that works for a few experiments when occasional neutrons
are seen, Storms theory works for others, and Mills theory works for a few -
but this Russian Laser effort is one instance that is clearly tilted towards
plasmon/polaritons, etc.
