If this is a reference to the Chambers experiment in 1990, it is an interesting detail that the particles were emitted from the backside of the Ti/D thin foil. But I don't recall there being a detector on the front side of the foil, so I don't think much can be concluded about directionality of the reaction in that particular instance. Eric
