*The point is, you want to stay on good terms with the person you are dealing with.*
This may have been true in the old days so long ago when you were working in the marketplace. Things have changed. Ethics and fair play are a thing of this past time; those good old days. Now a days because they hold all the cards, big companies care little for good relations with subcontractors. When your not in a employee/employer relationship, the reality is that when you work for a large company, you are happy just to be paid for the work that you did for them, and for the amount agreed upon.
