Defkalion is a company. It is smaller than NASA or DoE, but it have a structure. I have various reports, including the one of Jed, Luca, Peter, Mats, Nelson, (and few more private, from EU, greece, Canada) and I cannot build a coherent logical story. It goes from extreme stupidity to conspiracy theories involving black suits. For people unaware of those various reports, my best advice is to wait and expect nothing, not even failure. I have people I appreciate and respect who disagree totally on key points. There is explanation which are opposed and none is nice for everybody. The point on which all agree is that there are good and bad potential in that company, and I know which ones. The only evidence is Nelson report, but it is very far from the independence and coverage of Levi&al report. the "concerns" that Luca raised and that Yianis acknowledged put doubt even on Nelson test. Business is human because humans make business. Moreover it is possible that to the usual mess of startup business, you can add International geostrategy and competitive intelligence war. I just warn any inventor to be careful with guests as there are many independent report of industrial spying, some by trusted people. Cold war is not dead. One great lesson I learned from Cold Fusion history is that once we see a contradiction we should stop trying to take any position, except prudence in any commitment, curiosity to learn more, and courage to try anything to learn more knowing it can/will turn bad. I wish good luck to all honest people in that affair, and wish the others can save their soul by better behaviors.
