Three additional points to add: * I'm still waiting for a careful writeup of Mizuno's latest NiH/NiD work. What we've seen are some slides. It seems premature at this point to draw too many conclusions. * We know relatively little about nickel systems compared to palladium systems. I assume that many of the PdD findings will carry over to nickel, and that some will not. I suspect, for instance, that helium will not. * With regard to power levels (and integrated energy) seen in experiments, it is always nice to see high power levels, in view of the potential for practical applications. But in terms of what is needed to draw conclusions about the nature of the process, all that is needed is power levels well above the measurement errors of the instruments being used.
