Bookmarks which have been added during a session do not appear to get
saved when you quit Voyager, as they did in 2.95.
You have to Save Bookmarks manually.
Even then, they usually disappear. And why does it come up saying
"root"? This is not a Linux system. There is only one user. Are you
suggesting that we have to enter a password somewhere before we can save
bookmarks? If so, that is absurd.
The old bookmarks system was much better and less buggy, IMO.
