This is a CManager setting. As far as I remember it is called "Save on
changes". Load CManager and open the settings window.

I don't know if you have to install CManager for the bookmark system to
work properly, but I find the new system a lot better than the old. One
important feature of the new bookmark system is that it hasn't corrupted my
bookmarks like the old system did regularly.
No, I surely find the integration of CManager into Voyager to be a big
and important improvement.
