I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but they really will not
care about the Amiga market... we make up, maybe, 1% of all
their traffic, most of whom will use the newest JS add ons
via NS or IE. ... I would bet we are closer to .1% in the
overall scheme of things, but I like to be a bit optimistic...
Ollie will HAVE TO dance to their tune... our power is nearly
nil. It is a fact we Amiga users just will have to get used
to, and getting worse until these new owners hopefully do
"something", whatever that will be. Our aging Amigas, using
Voyager or IBrowse, just play last fiddle... way, way back in
the orchestra pit.
I will let you know how the new owners do with this in
five years... by that time, we should have it figgered
out as to their real effect...
It is a war that NS and IE are in to get full control of
the Internet, and we are just one of the innocent victims.
