Networking Amigas is definitely worth while. For instance, one CD-ROM
drive can be read from any Amiga on the network.
The only snag is the expense - the hardware tends to cost much more than
for PC, and Envoy (software) is not cheap. OTOH, you will save on CD-ROM
drives etc.
People complain about the likely price of the BoXeR, but at least the
PCI cards will be much cheaper than Amiga Zorro cards. This particularly
applies to networking.
The key to networking is to start by deciding on a number for each
computer. These are the equivalent of URLs on the net, and for a home
(local) network should begin with 192.168, for instance 192.168.1.1 and
192.168.1.2 .... up to 255 if you have 255 Amigas.
