I would be that it is accurate within 50%....

Now, I understand what you are saying, and hoping. Still, the
numbers of Amiga's out there are highly inaccurate at best. Last
I heard, there were approximately 6 million Amigas sold... total.
Now, many are door stops. Others, that we die-hard Amiga users
still have, are centered in even smaller numbers. Here, in my
house, I have 5 Amigas... two 3000's, two 2000's and one 500. At
school, I have two more 500's and a 1000. One guy I am chatting
with to get a 4000, has three at home, and four 4000's in the
trunk of his car. The only Amiga repair guy I know in Vancouver,
has EIGHT A3000's he uses for parts, plus a 3000 Tower he may
sell to me, and he has a tower 4000 that he uses. Just between
the three of us, we have 24 Amigas right there!!!! Now, we are
all nuts at this end, but when I read some of the .sig's on the
Amiga users mail, I see many have three or more machines in their
posession.

We each can use, effectively, only one of those machines at a
time... : /

Just trying to keep things "clear", is all.

I would LOVE there to be 500,000 Amiga Users out there, but, I
fear our numbers are seriously dwindling... all the sheep are
heading to picking up probably as many new Pentiums a day as
there are Amiga's out there. ANd the MACs are not doing badly,
according to their sales figures recently either... nowhere near
machines, however, but magnitudes greater than our poor
be-knighted Amigas... spoofing or no spoofing.

Does that mean I will change... not bloody likely! : ))
I teach MAC usage at school, and we have a iMac Lab with
20 of the beasts in it. We also have a Pentium 200MMX
here at home... is my step-daughters... and I curse it more
often than not... and so does she. : ))

I know a good thing when I see it, even if others don't!
