Since there is no standardization of web pages, how could
there be a standardization of memory usage?
Right now every Tom, Dick and Harry with half a wit is online
putting every conceivable animGIF and overscaned truecolor
image they can find or paste together on their webpage.
Just because someone said they could have 20 megs of memory
they feel obligated to cram 20 megs....on ONE page usually.
The animated banners on commercial sites are even worse but
if Ollie implements a switchable animGIF loader we may be
spared all that. (Hint (TM) :)
