I was messing with version 3.05(?) I think.  What were your exact settings (so I can 
do it like you did).  I want to be able to publish this for people to mess around with 
in addition to using it on my site (ultimately).  But I want to include all three 
browsers if at all possible, and V's the last one to figure out, I got the other two 
to do it with my test page.

I followed basically the same instructions in V 2.95 and got it to work
(pointing V at a file named test.say, containing the text Hello, World!,
produced the expected speech output.

Notes:

V opens the Downloads window. Normal, I guess? Annoying, at least.

Within 10-20 secs, something goes wrong. But not neccessarily with V! 
On the last test, YAM (I was in the middle of typing this msg), 
suddenly generated a PrivErr alert and bombed everything. 

This is naughty.
