Well .... maybe you shouldn't  be so hasty .....
New versions of TurboPrint (versions 7 & up I think) have include support
for PS printing via Ghostscript, which comes with the TP installation.
... but not actually owning a PS printer I cannot try test this out .... any
volunteers?
Even so, apart from the quite high price tag (at least here in Australia),
the program is of excellent quality and has emptied many a deskjet cartridge
on my machine without failure!
