DreamCast!!! ;-) I am now converting many of my (cough) DivX movies
to DCDivX...... oops that isn't righ ;o) I also picked up the
DreamMovie thing to watch VCD's with it (my CD32's powersupply went
belly up, now it's been put up).. Darnit, I paid good money for the
DC, and it's not dead until * I * say it's dead!

I would say something to the effect that some of us don't want to pay
for a whole slew of new apps for the PC, but most of us don't bother
to *pay* for pc apps in the first place. (They are either bundled in a
package, or we know someone with the CD...)

With that said, I am against piracy on the Amiga. However, I never
made such claims for the PC side. In fact, since the whole concept of
the PC is based on a pirated (in some cases several levels of piracy)
chip and a pirated OS--they deserve to have more piracy than any other
platform!

Athlon -> pirated X86 -> pirated Zylog Z80
WinXP -> WinNT -> WinXX -> MS DOS -> PC DOS -> QDOS -> pirated CP/M
BIOS -> reverse engineered by Compaq to pirate IBM

Oh yes, I remember....

I just hope that Elbox lives up to their promises... That, and I can
find another infinitiv keyboard...

This goes back to NC-3, does it not? I was one of the first people in
line to purchace one back in '99 or '00.. I still have the reciept in
fact! At the time, Active was still in buisiness.. Did the mess start
with them, or did it start with Haage?

Whoa. Stop. Please, you are going to the Pegasos/AmigaONE thing, and I
think the question was MorphOS vs. AmigaOS-4. ;o) I can't speak for
everyone, but there are quite a few of us who will be going the
prometheous/mediator upgrade path. (We get PCI *NOW*, and whenever
the ppc gets done--we are supposed to save a buck or two)

Assuming that Elbox actually produces their Shark (With a mediator
already installed, it currently seems that would be the path I will
take... depending on the cost--it is a hobby, sorry Don..) the
'official' path is AmigaOS4, but I know I would love the oppertunity
to play with MorphOS too (I'm not afraid of a dual boot system!).

So what do you think? If the Shark becomes available, do you think
that MorphOS will have a package for it?

I, for one, am glad that you are pouring your time into the project.

Good luck with that Matt! With this experience you should be able to
snare up a job with a big web-development company, and slam them with
the big paycheck as a consultant (You know *too much* to actually
code! That's right, with the understanding of *how* the browsers
work--you should be telling the wimpy little web-coders how to do
things, and send the crappy js-coders home!)
