As much as I hate to say it, its pretty hard to beat a cheap fast Windows
box. If you really hate MS then get it set up as a dual booting system with
Linux (keeping Windows for apps and games).
My Amiga and my Windows box co-exist quite happily side by side on my
(rather large) desk.
Still haven't got round to networking them yet though and with the impending
arrival of our first child, I don't think I could slip the expenditure past
my wife.
