Hi,
this is crazy because i have on my Win7 Pro x64 pc Kaspersky and i am
not able to install the Vpn client...
On the same pc if i boot with my "old" windows 7 that has Microsoft
Security Essentials i am able to install/uninstall the Vpn client with
no problems and netcfg.exe works.
i have also did some more try with Windows Registry but it seems it does
not helps.
My next try it will be to uninstall Kaspersky and see if i am able to
complete the Vpn client installation.
More comes..

I get Error 0x8007005 when I try to install the same version on a
Windows 8 system.
The only significant difference I can see is that
the W7 system has Avast Pro antivirus whereas the W8 system has
Kaspersky.
Anyone got any ideas?
