I did what you suggested above, Dirk, and ssphys appears to be pulling the files out of the VSS data all the same. Every file in that temporary directory had the same contents. They are the latest contents, however. What I don't understand is that it gets all the other information correctly. It pulls the comments and the list of files being modified exactly right, preserves date and timestamps correctly, and nothing else appears to be going wrong. That XML files appears to be correct in describing the upgrade path that a certain file took. Do you have any idea why this might be happening?
